Windsor Essex Tech Show – Artificial Intelligence: Join IBM, GM, and Amazon in Breaking Down the World of AI
The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce (WERCC) and WEtech Alliance along with presenting sponsors St. Clair College and University of Windsor are excited to announce a powerful lineup of speakers for this year’s Windsor Essex Tech Show.
This year’s Tech Show is titled Artificial Intelligence: What Does the Future Hold? and will take place Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts (201 Riverside Dr. W.)
We know robotics and automation will transform today’s society even more than the Internet did twenty years ago, but can we actually predict what’s coming down the line? From smart homes, driverless cars and robotic helpers at work, rest and play – intelligent agents have the potential to put us in a new age of productivity, affluence and leisure – but can it also displace some of the things we hold near and dear?
Join IBM, General Motors, and Amazon in breaking down the world of Artificial Intelligence through their knowledge of machine learning, predictive analytics, and information visualization.
This is your chance to hear from acclaimed speakers, meet IBM’s Watson, and network in YQG’s first ever Tech Lounge.
Speakers include Tecumseh, ON’s own Debbie Landers (Vice President, Cognitive Solutions at IBM Canada), Windsor native Lillian Reaume (Director of Human Resources, Amazon), and Daphne Zargar (Partner Relations, Connected Ecosystem Integration at General Motors).
“Whether you are tech savvy or not, artificial intelligence will absolutely change your life and this Tech Show will help you understand and prepare for what is coming around the corner,” said Yvonne Pilon, the President and CEO of WEtech Alliance. “This is a can’t miss event for Windsor-Essex”.
“We have assembled some of North America’s corporate leaders to share their insights on the exciting trends of AI. We look forward to having them in our community,” said WERCC President & CEO Matt Marchand.
