Windsor-Essex and Ontario Chambers of Commerce: County Wide Tour of Key Agriculture Businesses in Advance of a Major Agriculture Strategy to be Released Later this Summer

The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce (WERCC) along with Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) Policy Analyst Kathryn Sullivan will be meeting with key agriculture businesses from Essex County on Tuesday, July 26.

These meetings include wineries, food processors, and agriculture stakeholders to gather information for an important WERCC/OCC agriculture report to be released later this summer.

Agriculture is one of the top economic drivers in Ontario and in the county of Essex. Our members want to expand exports and drive jobs and economic growth and this report will lay out a province wide strategy with Essex County being a key part of it.

The WERCC released its agri-food roadmap in April 2014 and this collaborative report with the OCC will be released later this summer.
