Small businesses are essential to the economic prosperity of Ontario. The Ontario Chamber Network recognizes that small businesses face a series of unique challenges. It’s critical that government remain responsive to these challenges to ensure the future competitiveness of small businesses in Ontario.
On Tuesday, August 9, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce (WERCC) boardroom located at 2575 Ouellette Place, please join the WERCC, Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) President & CEO Allan O’Dette, and a small group of local business leaders for a discussion on how government and employers can work together to address the barriers that small businesses face. This event is sold out.
This roundtable discussion will focus on the Top 3 Obstacles to Small Business Success, as identified by the OCC:
• A lack of Access to the Workers We Need
• Key Infrastructure Gaps
• The Rising Cost of Doing Business
We’re also interested in hearing perspectives on the provincial infrastructure deficit and the rising input costs of doing business in the province.
