The Ontario Ministry of the Environment (MOE) is transforming its environmental approvals program. Ontario’s new risk-based approach for processing requests for environmental approvals will focus resources and efforts based on the potential risk the activity in the request poses to the environment and human health. New Environmental Standards for Phase I and II ESA
The new regulations established the new requirements to perform a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and Phase II ESA for the purpose of filing an RSC for a property.
Letter to Minister of Energy, Hon. Brad Duguid
May 20, 2011 - The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce sent a letter to Ontario Minister of Energy, Hon. Brad Duguid. The Chamber expressed support for the Green Energy Act. The Chamber also expressed concerns by its members about the Smart Metering system in Ontario as well as teh rising cost of electricity in the Province.
