|

The
Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce has
approved a new Alternative Energy Policy developed
by the Chamber's Environment and Energy Committee.
The policy is aimed at addressing the provisions
of Ontario's new Green
Energy and Economy Act.
The
new Act defines the mix of electricity sources
which are required to sustain a reliable and cost
effective electricity system until 2025. The
Chamber wholly supports this new direction by the
government and has identified goods and services
needed to deliver alternative energy as a
potential major growth area for the Windsor-Essex
manufacturing industry.
