PLAN REVIEW JANUARY 25, 2010

On
January 25, 2010, the
Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce will
send a delegation to address City of Windsor
Council regarding the City's Official Plan review.
The Chamber has worked closely with the City's
Planning Advisory Committee to ensure businesses
can realize their current and future investment
plans without undue restrictions and has developed
a detailed position that will be presented to
Council as it comments on the portion of the
official plan dealing with commercial
development. |

host the 2010 Ontario Association of Crime
Stoppers Provincial Training Conference this June.
This year's theme is "Crime Knows No
Borders."
The
conference will be attended by up to 200 delegates
form June 5th - 8th, 2010 at the Windsor Police
Training Facility.

The
City of Windsor invites your organization to help
with the push to win Windsor a spot on Hasbro’s
MONOPOLY Canada.
If
you are interested in helping spread the word for
Windsor, the City encourages organizations to
place the Vote Now graphic on their website, with
a link to www.monopolyvote.ca.
Voting
in the nationwide competition continues until
February 7. Voters can choose up to three
cities each day, and the top 20 cities will be
included on the game board. The city with
the most votes will occupy the highest rent
property, traditionally held by Boardwalk.
