What are the roles of Chamber Staff?
President
The President provides leadership and guidance for the Chamber and its committees overseeing all operations, goals and budget.
Lois Booth – Executive Assistant - (x29)
Lois is the administrative support for ATHENA and the Board of Directors and Executive committees. Lois is also our volunteer coordinator.
Lindsey Rivait – Communications Coordinator (x25)
Lindsey is your key contact for all media requests and handles communications and social media strategies.
Igor Siljanoski – Policy Manager – (x28)
Igor oversees the Policy (Advocacy and Resolution) process and is the staff liaison for Environment & Energy, Finance & Taxation, Government Relations, and Transportation committees. Igor also oversees our bi-monthly electronic newsletter.
N/A – Director of Sales Representative – (x23)
The Director of Sales oversees New Membership Investment and Manages the Affinity and Program Development for the Chamber.
Crystal VanAspert – Financial & Office Coordinator – (x27)
Crystal handles all accounting, purchasing, invoices, flyer inserts and facilities rentals. Crystal manages the Chamber’s Human Resource policies.
Marianne Burke – Event Manager – (x21)
Marianne manages the sponsorship program and events including luncheons, breakfasts, seminars and workshops. Marianne is the staff liaison for ATHENA events, After Business, Business Excellence Awards, Golf, and Chairman’s Ball committees. When a policy committee hosts an event i.e. Transportation, Marianne coordinates the details.
Barbara Malmberg - Event Coordinator - (x31)
Barb is the staff liaison for After Business, Holiday Party and Golf Tournament.
Kerri Day - Membership Coordinator - (x30)
Kerri maintains the membership database including members, contacts and volunteers; coordinates new member orientations and the member retention strategy and handles all member inquiries for services (i.e. health benefits, affinity rewards programs). The Membership Coordinator is the staff liaison for the Membership Services and Development committee.
